File Number 145 Bich 6string '81iby acstorferj

This is the very cool Bich 6 string back from '81, very early model as 6 string of Bich. Did you know there were 2 body shapes of Bich 6 string model? The one was same as 10 string shape. Bottom cutting angle below bridge is so sharp same as original Bich. So, this is it. The other one was re-designed as Kahler unit mountable. Because the bottom angle was too sharp, the Kahler unit was over the body.

Why did B.C.Rich use Kahler? The original Quadmatic bridge on this guitar was designed with Kahler. Also most of B.C.Rich guitars have so thin body, it's so difficult to mount synchronized type unit. Mockingbird Tremolo and Warlock2, they have synchronized bridge, are so fat body than other models.

This is very nice example of early Bich 6.

The below ST-III '85 NJ model have full electronics circuit. There were so much NJ models since early '80's though full electronics with neckthru might be high end model of them.

Thanks acstorfer!
